Quizmaster: A Truly Interactive Viewing Experience

With the rise in the popularity of quiz shows and the increasing number of mobile users, ServusTV recognized an opportunity to bridge the gap between traditional TV viewing and interactive mobile engagement. Ex Machina worked with ServusTV to develop the Quizmaster platform and turn passive viewers into active participants.

Quizmaster is a dynamic game show where 4 candidates challenge the reigning quiz master over five rounds of questions from various categories. TV viewers at home can play in real-time using a dedicated app, aiming to win a weekly jackpot.

Quizmaster: How the Longest Running Interactive Trivia Quiz Show drives Viewer Interactivity

The Quizmaster app allows users to register and play along with the daily quiz show that is airing every weekday on ServusTV in Austria. The Quizmaster platform consists of mobile apps for iOS and Android, a gamification platform to manage the game shows, and a Producer Console that enables the production team to create and manage each episode.

The app turns the traditional passive viewer into an engaged participant creating loyalty and a truly interactive viewing experience.
